Overview
Erigo is an early mobilization therapy device for patients in acute care with limited walking, transfer, or standing ability.
The Erigo touchscreen allows therapists to operate up to eight functional electrical stimulation channels, adjustable according to patient motor ability. For immobile patients, Erigo's functional electrical stimulation induces leg muscle contractions fully synchronized with robotic leg movements. Erigo includes standard rails for secure attachment of hospital equipment such as patient monitoring systems. It progressively brings the patient to an upright position while moving the legs and applying cyclic leg loading. Optional functional electrical stimulation supports safe lower-limb verticalization and early functional mobilization training. Therapy is controlled via an intuitive touchscreen interface, with electronic adjustment of leg length. Erigo enables a single therapist to deliver mobilization, verticalization, and sensorimotor stimulation simultaneously.
Erigo verticalizes and mobilizes patients with low or no ambulatory ability in acute care settings. It can be wheeled directly into patient rooms and aligned with the bed for supine transfers.
