Overview
TIAGo is a mobile manipulator integrating perception, navigation, manipulation, and human-robot interaction.
The base diameter is 54 cm, with adjustable height from 110 to 145 cm. The chassis drive system is available in differential drive and omnidirectional configurations. The standard computing unit features an Intel i5 processor, 8 GB RAM, and a 250 GB SSD, running Ubuntu LTS and supporting a real-time OS for control requirements.
Applications include scientific research, healthcare, and education. Developers can control motors via the ros_control plugin interface, supporting velocity, position, and torque control modes. ROS-based open-source simulation models and tutorials are provided, and Docker images are available for testing navigation. TIAGo is used in education and research scenarios such as medical care.
